Fragmented Facades

Fragmented Facades explores iconic Australian domestic architecture from different states and photographic installation. The project displaces facades of northern housing onto urban structures such as substations, rubbish bins and a tram, transforming them to appear as houses. This suburban style of architecture plays a large part in defining a sense of place in Australia. My photographic installations provide a platform to acknowledge and interact with original and iconic housing that is gradually being replaced by urban infill.
