Mental Mist

Memory failures... Mixture of present and past... Hallucinations and flashbacks... Wandering in search of something familiar... Captive in a shrinkable and impenetrable world... This series MENTAL MIST is an ode to my Dutch grandmother who suffered from hereditary Alzheimer's disease. These images are a reflection of my memories and my feelings and emotions regarding her illness. With this photographs, I try to conquer my fear for a possible likewise fate and change it into something positive.
