Kyoto's Hanamachi

Hanamachi or Kagai (花街) is the way the Geisha districts are called in Japanese. The word's literal meaning is "flower town". I've been visiting these places for a couple of years, trying to capture the beauty of the Maiko (apprentice Geisha) and the Geiko (the way the geisha are called in Kyoto).
