NYC Subway Portraits
These images are portraits taken unbeknownst to the subjects on the NYC subway, where the natural light and long rides make it a perfect studio. I paired portraits with images taken from nearby subway platforms or stations. We use our subway rides to unwind, reflect and reconnect with those we are with. With an unspoken trust, we let our guards down and are our naked, natural selves.
