I'm usually an atheist, sometimes an agnostic. When I visit a church I do so for the its architecture, art, sometimes its music, but usually for a silent moment. A moment of meditation. Several of the images are taken when my eye sight was dimmed by cataract. Now I have been through the operation.
Lund Cathedral is in there in the city center, and I pass it daily on my way. When it was new it must have dominated the land and its bishop was once the archbishop of all the Nordic countries. Most recently it was used for a common ecumenical service in the presence of the pope and leaders of the Lutheran World Federation marking the start of the Reformation.
I love the Romanesque arches how the light falls into the church through the lead glass windows.
