Underground Pirates

The parisian catacombs are made of a complex network of rooms and galleries. Beside a small part which is possible to visit, the illegal part, which is about 300km big, is a perfect exploration and expression field for a particularly codified society. Different groups of cataphiles share this historical territory who's considered by most of them as an area free from the surface's rules. A place of initiation and creation where people seek anonymity and sensations in a common passion for this underworld. Till 30 meters beneath the surface, day and night melt together and it's not rare to cross cataphiles whom are staying down for periods longer than 48h.
