This is a story of people with Iranian nationality ,hoping for life and having dreams in their head, in the north west of their country. And now with the death of the second biggest salt-water lake in the Middle East, they have lost their lives and their civilzation is at a great risk.
The 75% dryness of The lake of Urmia caused drought in the region and this drought caused the creation of salt storms which ended up destroying farmlands and nature life in the region and inflicted the biggest damage to the villages around the lake and their inhabitants, the people who were attached to the lake in so many ways.
A port on the lake which was a great place for tourists and for business, and also a nice place for farming and living, now has turned into a lifeless and dry ruined place in which there is no sign of hope for life.
There is no sailing anymore, all the shops are closed and there is no trading and most of the people have left the villages except a few elders who can not tolerate leaving their birthland and are condemned to carry on.
Rahmanlou, Sharafkhane, Gamichi, Agh Gonbad and ... are among the villages which have been dead due to the drought of the lake and after a while the civilzation is also expected to die in these places and perhaps in the future, there wont be any signs of their roots and they might turn into some parts of the history and geography books.
