Portraits en passant

As i first stepped in Drugstore i was fascinated of every face i saw there, every corner of the pub and the atmosphere i found there made me fall inlove with it.As i returned, i managed to go every time deeper into the charachters and explore the worlds that are created with every chess game.This is an ongoing project about Drugstore as a chess pub and a mixing of homeless,students and intellectuals of all ages,right in the hearth of the beautiful Heidelberg, in the south west of Germany.In this selection i try to romanticize the pub and concentrate on the chess players, most of them regular customers, some of them counting more than 30 years of Drugstore.The entire project will be focused on the pub as a meeting point for the most complex mix of people i ve ever seen , as it will reach his 50 years in 2 years.
