This short ongoing series explores ideas of beauty and the natural body through the study of the female nude.
This project aims to cover a wide range of people, where every age, size, shape and ethnicity can be captured, and presented on even and equal ground, giving no priority to any one 'perfected' form, but to celebrate the unique and individual beauty of each.
By removing any outside context form can be observed clearly, and studied rather than judged. This also creates a sense of isolation and a disconnection from any form of identity outside that which is presented through the body, commenting on the effect the beauty industry has had on our thinking and relationship to the natural body, and the self.
