The Last Decade

Living with and loving one of the great minds of the twentieth century, for the last decade of his life, was a great privilege. Watching his dedication of purpose as he wrote his last of eighteen books, while in his late nineties, was an important in teaching in focus and fortitude. His generosity of spirit in allowing me to make my images, while laying himself bare without self-consciousness, was his lesson of ego aside and let the artist do her work.
