Plastic Soup Starts Here is a serie of 7 compositions made from plastic waste found in the canals of the city of Amsterdam. The plastic has been collected by myself over a period of 4 months. With these images I want to point out that the problem of plastic soup is not only a problem that occurs far from our own doorstep in the north Atlantic Garbage Patch but partly originates right in front of us by our own doing. By knowing this we can also be part of the sollution.
