EXODUS : A way to freedom

"Exodus" is a visual tribute to the historic 1826 sacrifice of the "Free Besieged" in Messolonghi, Greece. Through a dramatic chiaroscuro technique, the series captures the spiritual preparation and the harrowing resolve of those who chose death over slavery. This is a psychographic study of bravery, where deep shadows symbolize the darkness of the siege and the unknown, while light highlights the dignity and the unwavering will for freedom. By isolating figures from time, the project transforms a local heroic act into a universal narrative on human rights and sacrifice.
