This exhibit features a series of photographs taken during 2012–2014
The depictions show the dimensions of time and contingency, with references to the surrounding deserts and wide sparse spaces in which our cities keep our time, and the running of our lives. They deal with urban space, sound, and the treatment of textural surfaces.
The photographs range from exhibiting raw materials and people, to masking them, thus reflecting the vision of them.
These works are based and inspired by an in-depth familiarity with innovative texts in the fields of philosophy, psychoanalysis, and culture. Whilst emphasizing content, they create an ongoing dialogue between contemporary art and photography, and to the significance of the intermediate between fantasy and formalism. The masking and blurring in the photographs are designed to allow the viewer to go into a sensual mood and a state of contemplation.
