Portraits of the Heart

Two portraits: 1) My wife, a person of unique vitality, standing defiant and radiant four days before cancer finishes demolishing her body. Her spirit was never defeated. 2) My niece, great-great-granddaughter of Luigi Pirandello, and her father.
