The images, we see here, are not "amazing" and they do not pretend to be so, otherwise it would transform the state of things as they actually exist into a form of show that would become an ephemeral "distraction" from our daily life.
The photographic testimony is meant to represent a sort of guide for those who cannot see a way out, for those who are still far away from the consciousness and for those who have not yet the strength and courage to take new paths.
The photographs were taken in Basilicata in a center for eating disorders. For six months I have monitored six patients. A long and difficult time but mandatory to get in touch with patients without hurting their feelings or betraying their trust.
