India, a county of contradictions.
A country that gave birth to the beauty of the Himalayas, the dry desert, the tropical beaches and to the dirty garbage dump along the streets of Delhi. The silence of meditation inside the ashrams of Rishikesh and the noisy street life on the outside. The public sexual expressions on the temples of Khajuraho and the prudishness of the Indian woman. The prosperity of the Taj Mahal and the slums of Mumbai. A country where Muslims, Hindus, Christians and Buddhists are living together but people of different casts cannot marry. The smell of incense and herbs blended by the smell of cow shit and smog-covered cities. My fascination for this country will never end…
