Old Loves

Beauty has no age. By making portraits of older people I feel the strength and beauty of timeless moments. In my previous series I won't say goodbye, Everlasting and Old Love I focussed already on photographing older people. Today, the media exhibits a single-minded focus on showing young, perfect people in love. We’re used to this image of youthful sexuality and intimacy. But for me, older people are beautiful as well—and they also have an intimate life that should be shown. In these portraits I try to exceed the limits of time.
