Portraits of the H'mong and Dao ethnic minorities in the Sa pa region of Northern Vietnam

In February 2017 I spent some days trekking in the Sa pa region of Northern Vietnam, home to several ethnic minority groups. With the aid of local guides I experienced not only the breathtaking scenic beauty of the rice terraces and surrounding mountains but also the unique hospitality of the local people, who kindly allowed me to photograph them for this portrait series.
