Summer Lovin'

“Summer lovin’ had me a blast. Summer lovin’ happened so fast.” It was the summer of love, 2016. And I had lots of images to prove it, from the beaches of Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York to the sandy shores of Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Love, love, love. People loving each other, people loving the sun, people loving themselves. A stark contrast from the U.S. Presidential election and its red-hot, angry rhetoric, people around the world were definitely in the mood for love. My Summer Lovin’ series features portraits of couples I saw expressing one of mankind’s simplest human pleasures - love. Love of self. Love of one another. Love of life.
