Character Study

I have been photographing the nightlife personalities of New York City (and beyond) for close to 8 years. These characters have opened my eyes to the amazing ways that a person can express themselves, both to entertain and enlighten. Its something I've always been jealous of in a way, being able to bend or sing or make people laugh or most of all, become my own character. Each individual that I've photographed has a personality that runs so deep and so strong that being able to capture a portion of that in a photograph is a way that I have been able to discover my own voice.
