The trail to enlightenment

This series was taken in Sept 2016 while I visited Hong Kong. I was struck by the commercial aspect of visiting a once cared site. While still religiously important to some, many were there for the tourist factor (myself included) and so many vowed the Buddha and surrounds only through the screens of their smart phones. The landscape I found truly beautiful although dotted with signal seeking visitors at points.
