Sacrifice

This is my first time going to Batu Caves during Thaipusam in Kuala Lumpur to capture unique and wonderful people celebrating one of the biggest religious festival in Malaysia. Each photo embedded with emotions and culture meanings for the viewers to feel the excitement and pain. The festival is celebrated in honour of Lord Subramaniam (also known as Lord Murugan), who represents virtue, youth and power, and is the destroyer of evil.
