Myanmar's Ancient Marks of Beauty and Courage

My photographic work focus has been portraits of Chin women with facial tattoos since 2001. Recently I started a new project in Myanmar: to portrait the last men that still bear the traditional leg tattoos, an expression of courage and manhood. The practise stopped in the 1950s.
