Portraits out of stubbornness

Maybe the most difficult part of making portraits is to achieve the intimacy needed to reveal someone's real self. That is why it is a good exercise to start with the people you know, your close ones. No one better for this task than your wife and daughter. There are many phases in this process throughout the years: at first they like it, then they refuse, get bored, resign and finally ignore you.
