Eat Her Words

This series of self portraits combines literally interpreting the idiom "I will make them eat their words" with a confrontational aspect where I eat the insults that have been hurled at me in public spaces, by depicting it so bluntly I am bringing those isolated moments under the light of scrutiny, escalating the impropriety in the hopes of sparking a dialogue.
