Private Ground

These images emerged organically over the past decade as I roamed around my family’s land in the Lakes Region of central New Hampshire, my 8x10 field camera slung over my shoulder. They are stolen moments, contrived scenes, and collaborations with family, friends, and lovers. Private Ground is a portrait of a place suspended in time and of the people who bring it to life. Over the years, the work has evolved, but the heart remains the same.
