I am trying to capture isolation and seclusion in my images. In a time of a so called “social media outburst” and of fast paces, I discovered that the common ground we all step on is the lack of communication, the segregation of our existence. Social nihilism as a consequence of globalization and the battle between collective identity and individuality is a recurring theme in my photography. Yet, I don’t want to cure with my images, I want to intensify. My photography is reflective and not reactive. I am trying to express solitude in order to come in terms with its normality and its prevalent existence in modern life.
