My current practice is focusing on analyzing feelings and on portraying the inner world of individuals. I am currently working on my major project “I can hear you now” for my MA Photography at Falmouth University, based on the idea of giving my subjects the chance to free themselves from negative emotions through a scream. Screaming is usually seen as a negative act, but I want to transform it to a constructive action: something with positive connotations that let the people I portray to release their negativity in order to leave space to something else, the chance to leave what hurts behind, feeling relieved. This is the concept behind the naming: the project itself is a way to make this process audible. I’ve always been interested in people, their feelings, their personalities and how they interact or they isolate themselves from the rest of Society.
