Haitian woman on the road of Jacmel

Travelling from Port-au-Prince to Jacmel is a trip by itself! Once you get to Carrefour Dufort, you get on the mountain road. We were climbing a hill and I saw this woman. I asked the driver to stop the Jeep and go ask her if she wouldn’t mind being photographed! One speed flash with a pocket wizard mounted with a small soft box held by Ciko Calixte the driver and boom, I had this image with this genuine Haitian woman and this scenery in the background dramatized by the clouds hanging to the mountains. Sometimes you see a picture and you must stop and do it, otherwise this magic moment is lost forever...#nationalgeographic #humanitarianphotography
