Snow Study: Hakuba 2017

Snow study 1: Hakuba is a village located in the Japanese Alps that provided a look into a deprived winter tundra, eerily beautiful, yet desolate and unforgiving. The snow encases the land, leaving sculpturesque traces of the evergreen forests and pastures clinging to the life of the previous months; bare and brittle against the ever changing forces of the winter.
