On the Road in Vietnam
Project info

'On the Road' documents my motorcycle journey throughout Vietnam.
There are an estimated 37 million motorbikes on Vietnam’s roads - meaning more than 1 in 3 of the population own one, and as the saying goes “When in Rome, do as the Roman’s do”. I genuinely believe the only way to really see Vietnam is to get on a motorbike and drive, so that’s exactly what I’ve done - twice. My journey has taken me from the most northern point, through deserts in the south, along coastal roads and into tiny tribal villages, up to the Chinese border, and on a few questionable roads too. Riding a bike is an atmospheric experience which I have attempted to capture in a unique set of photographs.
