Animale Series

Animale Series The Animale series was a collaboration with a group of learners from the Nakayale Private Academy in the north of Namibia in the Etunda Region. I asked them what their instinctive animals were? Our materials were all natural. Himba ochre and river clay with seasonal botanicals and their imagination to bring their animals to life. We were only allowed to interact using our primal animal instincts through movement, sound and gesture. It all happened naturally from there. Using natural light against the ever changing mood of the Wamboland landscape.
