Lost Takes

The Yugoslav Wars of the 1990s were the first political conflict that I can remember as a child. These first images of war had a huge impact on me. The Yugoslav Wars also had a huge impact on The Netherlands with the fall of the Srebrenica enclave, which was under Dutch/UN supervision and the subsequent destruction of a potentially revealing roll of film shot by a Dutchbat III lieutenant. My project is about this now notorious missing roll of film and the importance of finding the truth.
