Estate Sales

My photography project on estate sales began in October 2015. To date, I have photographed 10 homes for this project. Each estate sale takes place on one weekend. The photographs shown here are from 7 different homes located in Santa Clara County, California. Each estate sale is unique. My goal is to try and put together a little portrait within this home environment. It’s not so much about the process of the estate sale, but more about what people collect, what they put on their walls, and what they surround themselves with.
