This journey arises from a vital need to escape, to free myself from stimuli, from work, from "notifications". Running away from restraints, schedules, results. Appreciate the process, the root, the primordial. I did not care if the image was broken, I just wanted to go light, without expectations, I wanted to delight in seeing, to observe and get swept up in passion to photograph. That was my only objective. I was fed up with having to deliver the photographs to a recipient. I did not want to consider any photographic project, no imprisoning transcendence. I just wanted to look. I work almost all year round doing commercial and social photography. Everything always tied to a delivery, to a customer. Always hanging on the phone. Stress was killing my creativity. It was literally killing me. I had to move myself again, from that surface that seemed to flood everything in a dense and trivial way. I got all the rage accumulated. Finding myself again in a frame causing the crisis to emerge, and it was liberating. I raised precise questions again, sometimes I was excited to find myself again.
