Railways

I am drawn to and inspired by parallels and symmetry across cultures and geography. Train stations, marketplaces, and religious gatherings are constant subjects. I'm always astounded at the seamless commonality of the human experience, and its power to trivialize constructed divides. Train travel represents a literal and geographic cultural connectivity, and as such, serves as the perfect medium on which to examine universalities of form, culture, tradition on the back of a familiar and common experience.
