The aim of this project was to show my homeland from a detached point of view and to photograph objectively as an outsider. Over time however, I was drawn to the idea of highlighting the changes in Poland, the large fields, the deep forests, the lonely houses as well as the cities rich in concrete and bright lights. The project is a documentation of the nation as a whole, looking at the Polish mentality of the society and the generations within. This includes the young, modern and impressionable and the post Communist public that has been conditioned by the model patterns of their era. It is also a discovery of my own identity, a photographic journey showing a unified Poland.
