This body of work grew out of my relationship with Albina, who I have been photographing for a couple of years now.
As a fashion Photographer, one of my greatest strength lies in capturing portraits that enable a deeper emotive connection between the viewer and the model. I want to pronounce this more strongly with Albina, as a composition of sheer purity and beauty. Shot on an isolated island, where the land meets the ocean, the black and white composition speak of timelessness and of a raw immaculate character. Like the barren land and open waters, Albina is photographed nude, minus the trappings of fashion, props or convention. She becomes the part of the landscape, and part of our romanticised vision of reality.
