When I was a kid, I used to spend my after- school hours at a drugstore belonging to one of my uncles. There I'd read comic books and when those ran out. I'd then move on to the magazines. I'd spend hours looking at photos of anything and everything going on around the world. From National Geographic to the Granma newspaper of Cuba. Now that I look back, I realized the one common thread among those publications was their sense of duty of covering not only the extraordinary but the mundane of every day life. And that is where true love of photography lies: Documenting every day life and every day moments.
