Grand Hotel Miramare

A series of portraits of mature women taken at a seaside resort in Italy. The motivation of this project was to create a dialogue between the female body, age, style and aesthetic. This body of work exists with the intention of questioning established canons of beauty, the attributes of the feminine archetypes commonly revered in our society and who has the privilege to be posing in front of the camera in beach wear.
