Resilience - in exile

Not without reason, photographs depicting refugees are often pessimist ones. However, in the alleys of refugee camps and on the many roads of exile, people also smile, sing, play. To give oneself strength, forget misery for a moment, show solidarity and bring people together. Facing a crisis that is a global and a long-term phenomenon, it seems important to me to present these future members of our societies not only as victims but also as active subjects.
