This submission is from a series of pictures documenting recently revived grounds of an English country house. The centre piece of the grounds is a landscape designed in the 18th century by Capability Brown. Being recently restored and privately owned it is less well known than other Brown landscapes. It is twinned with more prominent Stowe as a result of historical family connections. I have enjoyed privileged access to document the landscape in celebration of the grounds' upgrading to Grade I status. This submission is intended to give a sense of the richness of the landscape across the seasons. My intention is for the full portfolio to be edited to create my first book, which will remain an important historic record.
