Hillfon Land

There are many stories about Curt Hillfon. This one called Hillfon Land is mine. The very first time I met Curt was on a train from Stockholm to Malmö. I instinctivelyI felt that I wanted to take photos of this man at his place. But it took me more than 10 years until I called him a late February evening. And Curt remembered me and I was welcomed. The old distillery where Curt lives and has had his studio since 1962 is huge. Nowadays most living is concentrated to the kitchen area and around the wood stove close to the bed and Curt's workspace.
