These pictures were taken on a road trip from Italy to Iran in 2014. Almost all of them belong to a broader work called "Tappeti a parte: l'Iran sfuggito alle trame della stampa", in which I juxtaposed each photo to an article about Iran appeared on the Italian press. The purpose of the work was to show the difference between the picture of the country drawn by media and what one can see for himself by going there.
