Three shades from Tajikistan

Drug-related harms can and must be reduced. Primarily for those who use drugs today. Governments around the world use cost-effective and efficient harm reduction programs to help prevent and treat infectious diseases, reintegrate people into society, and save lives. I won the EHRN competition and with the task of creating photo stories went on a tour of the project countries.  I realized that just like me, many people in their lives either do not want to know anything about drug users, or they have a negative reaction. For them, this is a black spot. Every day getting acquainted with the heroes of photos, going to their homes, walking along the paths of their lives, I began to understand that these are the same marvelous people, and I felt warm to them. Photo stories begin with a shadow, on the dark side, which you can fear, ignore, do not want to know. But looking closer, in small moments of a person's ordinary life, the view changes. I'm trying to make a little change.
