Currently, Maria is very interested in understanding natural light. How does light affect her subject? With a strong documentary approach she tries to bring the studio to the street and viceversa, trying to achieve a consistent style. Maria's pictures portray people that have allowed her to study and broaden her photographic practice in order to refine her own aesthetic.
