Inside

These photos were taken in the space of one year in the garden of a house i lived in Milano. The series is called 'Inside' because this is the feeling you had there. A feeling of participating to another dimension compared to the outside neighbourhood (a bourgeois and cold residential area not far away from a big arterial road). The house and garden allowed for a visual contemplative experience in total contrast from the city noises on could hear from there (cars from a nearby main road,sirens,building works etc) The feeling,with the plants left almost completly wild,was that the garden was creating it's visitor and not the opposite. The house is planned to be destroyd in 2018 to make room for a 6-storey building. Apart from one all pictures are taken on 35mm black and white film
