Where They Waited

Before and after World War II the so-called daddy boats were a popular and important link for fathers who had their jobs in Oslo and who lived on the islands and along both sides of the Oslofjord. The boats took working fathers from the city to the many piers along the fjord. These photo series show some of the piers today.
