Tultepec's National Pyrotechnic Festival, Running with the Toros

On March 8th the town of Tultepec, Mexico holds as part of its National Pyrotechnic Festival a running with the bulls event. Homemade bulls made of paper mache are rigged to thousands of fireworks, and paraded around the town. At dusk, they are lined up and one by one pushed through the town square as the fusses are lit and fireworks with sparks rain down. There is a saying, "to be burned is to be blessed by the saint."
