After living for six months in Rio de Janeiro's favela and documenting lives of its inhabitants , I decided to tell a different story about the Cariocas. Beach is their lifeline, they work on the beach, they have fun on the beach, they sleep and live on the beach. Rio beaches are the place to get to know real Carioca spirit.
